Noria is a player: you bring your own source, it makes that source pleasant to use on every screen.
Pick up exactly where you stopped
Start a film on the living-room TV, finish it in bed on your phone. Noria remembers your playback position and finds it again on the next device, along with your favourites and history. Nothing to set up: the resume prompt is waiting when you open the app.
- —Playback position synced across TV, phone and computer
- —Favourites, history and custom categories follow your account
- —Resume offered at the top of the home screen, not buried
One space per person, kept separate
Everyone gets their own favourites, history and resume list. What a child watches never shows up on your home screen, and your series never clutter theirs. Child profiles lock behind a PIN, with a daily or weekly screen-time limit if you want one.
- —Favourites, history and resume separated per profile
- —Child profiles protected by a PIN code
- —Optional daily or weekly screen-time limit
Organised your way, not the way the source imposes
Lists rarely arrive in a useful order. From the dashboard you hide the categories you never open, reorder the rest, and choose what appears on the home screen. The TV picks up the change without reinstalling anything.
- —Hide and reorder categories from any browser
- —Choose which rows appear on the home screen
- —Sort films by release date rather than date added
Built for a remote, not adapted to one afterwards
The whole interface is navigable with the D-pad, with no cursor to chase. Channel changes reuse the connection already open instead of opening a second one, which matters on subscriptions limited to a single stream. Seeking speeds up the longer you hold the key.
- —Full D-pad navigation, every screen reachable without a mouse
- —Channel changes without a second simultaneous connection
- —10-second seek steps that grow as you hold the key
Record to storage you control
The DVR writes to a folder on your device, or to one you point it at — including an external drive plugged into the box. Recordings stay ordinary .mp4 files you can copy to a NAS or your own cloud and play back without the app. Noria hosts no recordings.
- —Record immediately or schedule ahead
- —Configurable destination folder, external drives included
- —No recording is ever hosted by Noria
Sport without opening three apps
Fixtures, kick-off times converted to your timezone, results and standings for the competitions you follow. Noria tells you when a match is on; what you can actually watch depends solely on the source you connected.
- —Fixtures, results and standings for the leagues you pick
- —Kick-off times shown in your local timezone
- —Follow selected competitions, skip the rest
Your credentials stay yours
No advertising, no marketing trackers, no data resale. Your credentials are encrypted and used only to play your own streams on your own devices. Noria supplies no channels, no subscription and no playlist: what you watch never comes from us.
- —No advertising, no marketing tracking
- —Encrypted credentials, used only for your playback
- —Delete your account and its data goes with it
